Redmi Note 13 Series With Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, 200MP Camera Launch Set To Launch on September 21
The Redmi Note 13 series launch date has been announced by Xiaomi today. The upcoming Redmi Note 13 series smartphones will debut in China on September 21. The Redmi Note 13 lineup initially is supposed to include three devices namely the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. As per the previous information shared by Xiaomi, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 lineup will feature newly announced Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. The smartphones will also feature a 200MP primary camera as confirmed by Xiaomi.
While announcing the launch date today, Xiaomi also has shared images of two Redmi Note 13 series smartphones. Tipster Digital Chat Station in a Weibo post has mentioned that the left side phone in the image is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ which will adopt a leather back panel, while the right side smartphone is the Redmi Note 13 Pro which will have a glass back panel. Previously, the tipster had revealed that the Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro will pack a 5,120mAh battery which will support 67W fast charging, whereas the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will ship with a 5,000mAh battery, offering 120W fast charging support. All the three Redmi Note 13 series smartphones already have received the 3C certification in China.
The upcoming Redmi Note 13 lineup will include Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC as mentioned above. The Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset is designed using a 4nm process which consists of two Cortex A715 cores and six Cortex A510 cores. The SoC is aided with the ARM Mali-G610 GPU. It is also compatible with cameras up to 200MP and also supports 4K video recording at 30fps.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display as revealed by TENAA certification earlier. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will pack up to 18GB of RAM, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro will ship with 16GB of RAM. These smartphones will be available 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage configurations. Both smartphones will feature a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 200MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The duo will run Android 13 out of the box and it will also have a 5G support. For selfies and video-calling purposes, smartphones are expected to rely on a 16MP camera.
