Lava Mobiles has had a busy year so far as it released various smartphones across different price points. Among all those releases, the Lava Agni 2 is one smartphone that caught everyone’s attention. It is one of the best value-for-money smartphones in its price segment. The company has now refreshed it with two new colour options to offer more choices to buyers.
Lava Agni 2 New Colours: Price and Availability
The Lava Agni 2 is now available in Heather Glass and Iron Glass colour options. The first one is a Purple shade and the second one is a Deep Gray shade. Buyers can now choose from these two colours in addition to the existing Viridian Glass (Green colour).
All three colour variants can be purchased via Amazon India. The Lava Agni 2 was launched at Rs 21,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB configuration. However, it is listed for Rs 19,999 (without offers) at the time of writing this.
Lava Agni 2 Specifications and Features
The Lava Agni 2 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED curved display with a centred punch-hole. The panel offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 105% NTSC colour gamut. Under the hood, it has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. There is support for up to 8GB virtual RAM.
The smartphone offers 256GB onboard storage which is the only storage variant you get. There is no microSD card slot either. On the back, it has a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor with a 1µm pixel size. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
It has a 16MP front camera housed inside the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 4,700mAh battery. The good thing is it supports 66W wired fast charging which is claimed to deliver 50% charging in less than 16 minutes. The phone boots Android 13 out of the box with “no ads, bloatware, and unwanted apps”. Other features of the phone include an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for 13 5G bands.
The Lava Agni 2 comes with 1 year warranty as you would expect but there are a few unique benefits. The company is offering free phone replacement during the warranty period, subject to terms and conditions. It will further replace the device instead of repairing it in case of hardware issues. The company is also offering free service at home during the warranty period.
