Although the satcom market in India is still in its nascent stage, its potential is huge in rural and remote areas. According to media reports, India’s space economy is expected to reach $13 billion by 2025, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6%.
Reliance is also preparing
Reliance Jio has launched a new technology to ensure access to high-speed internet even in remote areas of the country. The name of this technology is ‘Geo Space Fiber’. There are preparations to make Jio Space Fiber available cheaply across the country.
