Police officers assist ship child subsequent to roundabout in Kent

A staff of law enforcement officials have helped to ship a child in a automobile parked subsequent to a roundabout in Kent.

Dog handler Pc Ed Goldswain of Kent Police was flagged down by the newborn lady’s father on Kingsmead Road in Canterbury on Monday afternoon.

The officer quickly found the person’s companion was in labour contained in the automobile.

Without sufficient time to take her to hospital, Pc Goldswain put a name out on the police drive’s radio system.

Pc Billy Knight quickly arrived on the scene with police medic Pc Rachael Taylor and the officers collectively helped ship the newborn earlier than an ambulance arrived to take the younger household to a hospital.

It has since been confirmed the mom, father and the little child lady are all properly and have returned house.

Chief Inspector Gary Woodward mentioned: “Police officers can be called at a moment’s notice to any sort of emergency or incident.”

“This may have been an out of the ordinary call for those Pcs responding, but I am pleased their professionalism and training equipped them well to help this couple.

“I would like to wish mother, father and baby well and I hope they are enjoying family life together.”
