Suspect in Maine mass shootings found dead from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, CNN reports

Robert Card, the suspect in the Lewiston, Maine, mass shooting was found dead Friday from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, CNN reported.

Three sources told CNN Card was found in the woods near Lisbon, which is about eight miles from Lewiston.

Police have been searching for Card since the shootings on Wednesday evening.

A news conference will be held at 10 p.m. and more details are expected to be released.
