JioBharat B1 Series launched in India as the latest feature phone offering from the leading telecom operator in India. The latest launch joins the JioBharat V2 and K1 Karbonn models in the lineup. The telco has listed the feature phone on its official website as the JioBharat B1 Series, indicating that more B1 phones might arrive in the future.
The JioBharat series from the telco is known for offering affordable 4G phones for tier 3 users. The JioBharat B1 comes with a larger display and bigger battery to allow feature phone users to enjoy watching videos and also use the JioPay app for UPI payments using JioPay.
JioBharat B1 Price in India, Availability
Jio is offering the latest JioBharat B1 Series feature phone in a single black colour in the country. It can be picked up from Amazon and official Jio stores. The new feature phone comes with a competitive price tag of Rs 1,299. The JioBharat B1 Series feature works with new and old Jio SIMs. However, Jio users need to be on a recharge plan of Rs 123 and above to be able to enjoy all the benefits of the JioBharat feature phone.
JioBharat B1 Specifications, Features
The JioBharat B1 Series feature phone is a plastic-clad unit that has a two-tone finish on the back panel. While the back panel has a matte finish, the Jio logo in the center, and the visor-like camera module has a glossy finish. The Pixel series-like visor houses a single QVGA (as per Amazon listing) camera module and a loudspeaker grille.
According to Jio website, the USP of the JioBharat B1 is the larger display and bigger battery compared to other models in the JioBharat lineup. The B1 feature phone comes with a 2.4-inch display on which users can enjoy movies and videos using 4G connectivity. Additionally, the massive 2,000mAh battery ensures that the feature phone lasts longer on a single charge.
Like other models in the JioBharat series, the new B1 phone also comes with pre-installed JioCinema and JioSaavn apps. Users can enjoy sports, videos, and movies in multiple languages on JioBharat B1. Additionally, the JioSaavn app gives users access to more than 8 crore songs across several languages and it also has a built-in FM radio. Speaking of multiple language support, the JioBharat B1 comes with native support for 23 languages for reading. There’s also the JioPay app for UPI payments and scan QR payments using the camera.
